Among other activities, it includes:<\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<ul>\n<li>Presentation of research results by PhD students (co-authored by their supervisors).<\/li>\n<li>Tutorials by invited experts on scientific, methodological, or soft skills topics.<\/li>\n<li>Presentation and discussion of the base ideas of the thesis plans.<\/li>\n<li>Discussion of the scientific and technical challenges in the several Electrical and Computer \u00a0Engineering specialization areas.<\/li>\n<li>Sharing of experiences among PhD students from different geographical regions.<\/li>\n<li>Forum on practical aspects (e.g. Publications, job markets, careers, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Creation of collaboration (social) networks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<address>Prospective authors of research papers are invited to submit their manuscripts reporting original work, in any of the\u00a0scientific areas of the conference. Papers describing advanced prototypes, systems, tools and techniques and general\u00a0survey papers indicating future directions are also encouraged.\u00a0<\/address>\n<p>Following the successful previous editions, proceedings are expected to be published by Springer, \u00a0IFIP AICT \u00a0series (indexed in <strong>Web of Science, SCOPUS, and DBLP<\/strong>).
